Design Idea

This piece continues the Cortex language through sportswear-driven construction. The jacket is built on a classic athletic zip-up silhouette, referencing vintage training and track jackets, but executed using formal textile logic. The clean body is interrupted by sharp diagonal cuts and paneling, creating directional movement across the garment. The brain-shaped zipper pull acts as the central Cortex symbol, reinforcing the idea of motion led by the mind rather than decoration. This piece is about restraint—letting cut, proportion, and material do the work.

Fabric

Indian wool body, chosen for its refined texture and formal weight while remaining wearable in a sporty silhouette. Fully lined with Belgian satin, providing a smooth, elevated interior contrast.

Fit & Construction

Tailor-made with a relaxed athletic fit. Elasticated cuffs and hem provide comfort and shape while maintaining mobility. Features a full zip closure with a custom brain-shaped zipper pull, angular Cortex paneling, contrast sleeve bands, and a discreet brass logo integrated into the body.
