Design Idea

Ruffle Lover explores the Cortex language through contrast. The piece combines sporty storm-jacket cuts with traditionally formal wool fabrics, merging athletic functionality with classical detailing. Renaissance-inspired ruffles are introduced across the body, reinterpreted in a modern, controlled way. These ruffles create layered textures that reference the folds and pathways of the brain cortex. Finished as a zip-up with a hood, the garment balances historical ornamentation with contemporary sportswear structure.

Fabric

Indian wool body, selected for its refined texture and formal weight. Finished with cotton rib at the cuffs and hem for comfort and flexibility. Fully lined with Belgian satin, providing a smooth, elevated interior.

Fit & Construction

Tailor-made with a relaxed, sporty silhouette. Storm-jacket inspired cut with a zip-up front and hood. Ruffle panels add texture and movement without compromising wearability. Finished with a custom brain-shaped zipper pull and a discreet brass logo embedded into the garment.
