Design Idea
This piece is part of Heiza Studios’ ongoing Cortex collar experimentation. The design focuses entirely on reinterpreting the Cortex collar — a collar system developed by Heiza Studios, inspired by the natural lines and structures of the brain cortex and how they sit on the body. In this version, the Cortex collar is executed in crocodile-embossed leather, pushing the idea through material rather than cut or construction changes. The garment remains clean and minimal, allowing the collar itself to be the focal point.

Fabric
Synthetic crocodile-embossed leather outer shell. Fully lined with Belgian satin for comfort and contrast.

Fit & Construction
Tailor-made with a relaxed fit. Elasticated cuffs and hem. Half-zip closure with custom brain-shaped zipper pull. Discreet Heiza Studios metal logo.
