Design Idea

This piece explores the Cortex language through a wavy front construction inspired by the organic lines of the brain cortex. The undulating edge running through the closure represents the idea of holding onto the mind, translated physically into the garment’s shape. Brain-shaped metal buttons are placed along this wavy line, functioning as closures while reinforcing the Cortex symbolism — the mind being held together through structure and design. The cardigan silhouette remains clean and minimal to keep focus on this central Cortex feature.

Fabric

Turkish mohair body, selected for its softness, warmth, and textured surface. Finished with cotton rib at the cuffs and hem for structure and comfort. Fully lined with Belgian satin, creating a refined interior contrast.

Fit & Construction

Tailor-made with a relaxed fit. Ribbed cuffs and hem provide controlled structure without stiffness. Finished with custom brain-shaped metal buttons and a subtle brass logo integrated into the garment.
