Design Idea
This piece introduces the Cortex Collar — a collar system developed by Heiza Studios and first explored in tailored suits. The collar’s lines and curves are inspired by the folds of the human cortex, shaped to follow the body naturally rather than impose rigid structure. For this design, the formal suit collar is reinterpreted within a zip-up silhouette, merging tailored language with casual streetwear. The result bridges formalwear and everyday wear, collapsing categories into a single form.

Fabric
Japanese Velvet body, selected for its depth, softness, and light-absorbing texture. Finished with 100% Egyptian cotton rib at the cuffs and hem for structure. Fully lined in Belgian satin, introducing a refined interior contrast.

Fit & Construction
Tailor-made with a relaxed, fluid silhouette. Dropped shoulders allow the velour to move naturally with the body. Defined by the sculpted Cortex collar, a custom brain-shaped zipper pull, and a discreet brass logo embedded into the garment.
